Bottleworks District Earns Top Honors at the ICSC Global Design & Development Awards

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (December 14, 2022) -- Bottleworks District earned top honors at the 2022 International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Global Design & Development Awards, including recognition as Best of the Best, the top award for all projects submitted globally. The district was also recognized as a Gold Winner of Renovation and Expansions of Mixed Use Projects with a sustainable commendation. Bottleworks District accepted the awards at the CENTERBUILD Conference in Phoenix on December 1.

ICSC is a leading advocacy organization that promotes and elevates the marketplaces and spaces where people shop, dine, work, play and gather as foundational and vital ingredients of communities and economies. The organization’s Global Design & Development Awards was created to recognize and honor the premier design and development trends of retail and real estate internationally.

“We are incredibly honored to receive these two very prestigious awards,” said Gavin Thomas, Vice President of Development for Hendricks Commercial Properties.

“There were some really fantastic applications which made both recognitions even more special. A big congratulations to all involved in this fantastic project. There were countless hours, meetings, collaboration and hard work that were put into making this project a reality. An awesome achievement for Hendricks Commercial Properties but also the City and citizens of Indianapolis.”

Bottleworks District is one of just sixteen projects in the world to earn awards for 2022. The complete list of award recipients can be found here.
