We’ve got some fun stuff in store for our Phase 1 launch in 2020, and who couldn’t use a little extra fun? In addition to The Garage food hall and west elm Hotel, our latest tenants to sign on are all about getting out and having a good time. Whether it’s blowing off a little steam at the upscale barcade, Pins Mechanical, or immersing yourself in another world with critically acclaimed independent films at Living Room Theaters, there’s an entertainment option for everyone on the horizon.
Cocktails, and games, and leagues, oh my!
Scooping up a massive 25,000-square-foot portion of Bottleworks District, Pins Mechanical is coming in hot with games, cocktails, an enormous draft beer selection, a large year-round patio, and adult duckpin bowling leagues. If you have kids to entertain or haven’t yet celebrated your 21st birthday, fret not—it’s all ages before 8pm.
Pins built their reputation across several Ohio locations on their duckpin bowling and irreverent brand philosophy, “When life gives you balls, play with them.” But they also offer an expansive vintage pinball machine collection, ping pong, foosball, and all manner of extras that vary by location including shuffleboard, bocce ball, and life-size beer pong (imagine red Solo cups the size of trash cans). Cozy up around the patio bonfires with a game of giant Jenga and bring over a banquet of your favorite foods from The Garage to keep the night going.
Art house theatre with a your-house vibe
Also coming in 2020, an amenity that downtown Indianapolis is long-overdue for, is Living Room Theaters—an upscale, eight-screen cinema dedicated to showing the best indie, foreign, and local films in intimate, living room-style theaters. The concept features a full bar, gourmet kitchen, and in-theater food and beverage servers. Reserve seats in advance and order meals to be delivered to your seat where you’ll find ottomans and side tables for easy dining. Or get there early and grab a seat at the stylish lobby bar and lounge to catch regular live, local music worth the visit with or without a movie ticket.
It’s exciting to watch our plans for Bottleworks District evolve and take shape, and we can’t wait to open our doors for the entire city to enjoy. Subscribe to our email list to stay up to date on the latest news.
