Bottleworks District kicks off the 2023 NCAA basketball tournament with free viewing party
Indianapolis, IN (March 1, 2023)—Bottleworks District will tip off the final weeks of the men’s college basketball season with its annual Bottleworks BBall Bash happening March 16-19 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. each day on Carrollton Avenue and inside The Garage Food Hall.
The four day, fan favorite event is free and open to the public, featuring:
20-foot LED video screens airing basketball games all day, every day
Outdoor seating
Pop-up experiences
Food stations and pop-up bars
Coke VIP Lounge
Portions of Carrollton Avenue and 9th Street will be closed off to traffic for the event. 20-foot LED video screens will be placed on Carrollton that will air basketball games all day, every day, with additional TVs placed inside The Garage Food Hall. Priority will be given to games involving local teams, high profile matchups and exciting games coming down to the buzzer! Outdoor seating, pop-up experiences and food and beverage options will be available for purchase provided by our sponsors Coca-Cola, Stella Artois, Bud Light and Kona Big Wave.
Bottleworks Hotel will prepare a special food experience with burgers, hot dogs and all the fixin’s, along with a variety of canned beer, seltzers and pre-made cocktails for purchase. The Garage Food Hall will also be open for regular hours with food and beverage options.

Bottleworks BBall Bash never disappoints! The energy, the crowds, the food—it’s like the real-life version of the classic Snake Game: you start out small, then zigzag through food stalls, pop-up bars, and game screens until you’re totally hooked and can’t stop.

It's great that Bottleworks District is hosting this again. Free viewing parties are always a win, especially with those huge LED screens. Imagine catching a nail-biting game on a 20-foot screen – the energy must be amazing! Speaking of amazing, it reminds me of this one time, my friends and I were messing around with some video game software. We jokingly tried to create a crazy cattle 3d animation for a basketball halftime show. It was hilariously bad, but the absurdity of it kept us laughing for days. I bet the real halftime show at Bottleworks is much better, though! I am looking forward to grabbing some food and enjoying the games. Hopefully, they will be showing some exciting games.
